Ordo Sanguis's policy

Upon entering the guild you will be given a three week trial period in which you will start as an applicant for one week where we will observe your behavior and how well you hold your manners sort to say.  After this stage you will be promoted to a squire, we use this time to judge and see just how well you will fit in with us or to make sure someone hasn’t purchased their account.

Show respect to all other guild members. When dealing with the general chat, try to maintain a respectable mannerism and do not swear or bring up things that would offend many. Use common sense.

When an officer or myself asks you to stop doing something, if you are able to, please listen. They are my officers. I have chosen them and trust judgment, until they prove otherwise to me I judge them to treat each incident fairly and with an unbiased mind.

Do not accuse someone of something, unless you have proof and can provide this evidence to me or an officer; I am a firm believer in the policy of innocent until proven guilty. It is up to the accuser to convince us that an infraction has accused.

Do not harass, steal kills or gathered materials (herbs, ore, skins), or steal chests from other players.  You are carrying a guild tag under your name and people will see that and your actions will reflect upon the reputation of this guild.

Do not use an officer or the guild leader’s name to push someone to do something.  Do not tell someone if they do not agree with you, I or one of the officers will boot them for it (if of course we can find substantial evidence to support the accusation).

Earls and above are my officers. I have given the authority to make judgment calls on behavior in the chat. So keep your behavior in chat clean. Keep in mind this counts in General Chat as well. If you have something bad to say, take it to tells or make your own channel by using /join (name). Remember above your name you carry the guild’s name as well as your own and any actions you take will reflect upon us.

To gain a promotion, you must earn it. To earn it you must show me and the officers you are contributing to the guild and its members. Asking or begging for promotion is not only rude, but counterproductive.

Please do not beg or whine in guild chat. Unless one of the previous rules is being violated, there is no need to do so. The game is set up so you can earn your own way to fame, with a little patience. Of course, don't be afraid to ask for help--we are happy to help when we can. However, repeated requests for gear, gold, or quest completion are unacceptable.

Ninja looters shall not be tolerated. All officers have the authority to remove members who have been proven to be ninja looters.  Of course as stated prior, if you are accused of ninja looting it is up to the accuser to present us with proof of the actions, otherwise its just hearsay…and I will not make judgments based solely on he said she said. You are innocent until they prove that you are guildy.

Absolutely no racial slurs, jokes, or prejudice will be tolerated in this guild. The same principle goes for attacks on someone's religion or political affiliation. We're here to play, not to debate or practice intolerance.  Keep religion and political views to whispers, they do not involve the guild.

If you leave the guild twice, and return, the third time you leave you will not be allowed to return. We are not a revolving door for people.  Also don’t expect to get your way by threatening to leave the guild. This is a flexible rule, and is dependent on the guild member's manner. Any guild member in good standing can leave any number of times and come back if there were good reasons for his or her departure. A guild member might want to help a friend's guild get off the ground or get through a crisis; a guild member might want to go solo for a while; a guild member might have a problem with another guild member and choose to remain quietly apart; a guild member might want to try out a new set of people ... Similarly, musings about what guild would be better for an individual or jokes do not count as threats to leave. Basically, we want you back if you want to come back. However, if for some reason you were on thin ice already--for example, you have been warned about disruptive behavior in the past--and were causing disruptions by frequent threats or by leaving and coming back repeatedly, and then I will not let you return. Similarly, if you just leave and don't give an explanation, you must provide us with a reason for letting you back in.

Please do not ask for power leveling. Each member has earned his or her level. You may certainly ask for help with a quest or an instance, but do not expect to tag along with higher leveled characters than you on a regular basis to boost your experience or to complete quests for you. Do not ask for it.

Should you violate these rules, the officers are authorized to give you two warnings. Should you receive three consecutive warnings that you have violated the rules, they are authorized to take other actions. Egregious violations can result in immediate booting.

A ninja looter is someone who will loot while a fight is going on, and also who will roll need for every item regardless if they need it or not. This is especially bad when the item is "bind on pickup" since it cannot be traded.
